SF New Deal is offering a $2,500 grant to 400 eligible small businesses in San Francisco. Grant recipients will participate in a series of surveys and phone interviews in the coming months, and will be asked to share information about their businesses, including debt, employment practices, sales, and challenges to operating a business successfully in the City of San Francisco.
It is recommended that you upload a recent balance sheet and income statement with your application.
Eligibility guidelines:
The business is located within the City of San Francisco
The business has never participated in any of SF New Deal’s Programs
The business has 3 or fewer locations
The business has at least 3 (Full Time Equivalent) employees
The business had 2019 (pre-pandemic) revenue loss of less than $3 million annually
The business was negatively impacted by COVID-19 Shelter-in-Place orders (ex. the business lost employees, sales decreased, debt increased, etc).
The business has no outstanding violations or existing claims with the San Francisco Office of Labor Standards Enforcement (OLSE) or the California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE).
