Through its beautification projects, it has planted street trees and gardens, organized clean-up days with local schools and partners, installed murals, barrel planters for corridor merchants, and youth-created trash bins.

PNA Board

Meets on the last Thursday of every month, 6:30 - 7:30 pm.
The Board helps to guide the decisions, projects, and community partnerships for the PNA.

Business Development Committee

Meets on the first Monday of every month, 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Supports existing businesses along San Bruno Ave by providing resources and technical assistance, and promoting the commercial corridor. We also work with property owners to help fill vacant storefronts and connect with potential businesses that see San Bruno Avenue as a place where they can succeed.

Events Committee

Meets on the third Thursday of every month, 6 pm - 7 pm
Organizes gatherings to promote community, raises funds to continue PNA projects, and supports merchants with campaigns such as Shop Portola.

Portola Garden Club

Meets on the last Monday of every month 6 - 7 pm / Workdays on the first Saturday of every month, 10 am - 1 pm
The Portola Garden Club’s mission is to inspire and cultivate neighborhood participation in the creation and stewardship of green spaces throughout the Portola. Education and community service are central to our efforts to uphold the legacy of the Portola as San Francisco’s Garden District.

Safety & Transportation Committee

Meets on the second Thursday of every month, 7pm - 8pm
In order to improve overall public safety in the Portola and along the San Bruno Commercial Corridor, we connect local merchants, residents, community groups, schools, law enforcement, and other first responders to build neighborhood resilience. We also work closely with SFMTA and other city agencies to help improve transportation and parking in our community with projects such as the San Bruno Ave Corridor Study and the Alemany Island Pedestrian and Bicycle access study.
